What’s she done with it? Rather than try to match the energy of the original (an impossible task), she’s stripped it back, gutted it, and given us a slick, attitude-laden and, above all, effortlessly cool version of the pop standard. You can tell that Robyn grew up listening to this song in her teens, because she straddles that infamous chorus impeccably.
