What’s this? New music from Sweden’s Tove Styrke – her latest single and video ‘Show Me Love’.
What’s it like? It’s a classic rock ballad stripped down to its bare bones, reassembled with care, and elevated to something fresh and engaging. It’s an instantly appealing tune.
What does Tove say? “I wrote the song for a person I was completely engrossed in. Every word came directly from a very honest and vulnerable place that I would usually keep to myself. When we recorded ‘Show Me Love’, I thought a lot about how love is so ‘wear and tear’ and yet the biggest thing that has ever happened at one and the same time. I think there’s something nice in it.”
