It’s been….a while. Over a year, if we’re counting (we’re counting). But now Astrid S is back with some brand-new music for us.
And now she’s singing in Norwegian? Only for the purposes of this release. She stars in the new Norwegian film Tre Nøtter Til Askepott, and she now releases the first song and music video from that film – ‘Når Snøen Smelter’.
What does that mean? When The Snow Melts.
What’s it like? A Norwegian folk ballad performed beautifully by Ms S. The melody and the production give it a bit of a seasonal edge too, for the time that’s in it.
