What’s this? The self-titled debut EP from Swedish artist Maja Kristina.
What’s on it? Three of her previous singles (‘Idiot’, ‘Imma Show You’ and ‘The Idea Of Me’) plus three brand-new songs.
What are the new songs like? Well ‘Jessica’ is so good, it’s been deemed as perfect for the new single, and understandably so. ‘Self Love Therapy’ is the EP’s gorge ballad – a reflective number that invites you to take a breather with it. And ‘Walls’ is perhaps our fave of the whole EP. The Rami Yacoub co-write is a brilliantly crafted r&b-pop tune that hits hard via both its lyrics and the melody through which they’re delivered.
What does Maja say? “This EP represents a pick of the brain, a look inside my feelings and thoughts – the heartbreaks and the butterflies, the highs and the lows; and a collection of my work so far as an artist.”
