Norwegian song siren, Maria Mena, has blessed fans with a Christmas single to tide them over until her new album gets released in 2011. And they’ve rewarded her by making it number 1 on Norwegian iTunes chart!
‘Home For Christmas’ is a beautiful and soft piano lead ballad. And despite the not exactly new ‘home for Christmas’ theme, the song is packed full of Maria’s thought provoking lyrics that set it aside from your regular Christmas tune fare. Plus, if you’re a fan of Maria’s usual ballad vocals (and they are very special), this will please you lots. She sounds as great as ever. Our favourite bit is the melody she uses in the bridge. It’s utterly gorge!
