What’s this? Last week, The Mamas released their brand-new Christmas single ‘A Christmas Night To Remember‘, and now they’re back with a full EP! ‘All I Want For December’.
What’s on it? It consists of six Christmas songs – both covers and new songs written for and by The Mamas themselves. And as with their debut EP released earlier in the year, it includes three songs performed by the group, and three solo songs – one from each member.
Highlights? Our fave on there, as well as the new single, is ‘Shine A Light’ – an English version of the Swedish festive classic ‘Tänd Ett Ljus’. The original song is by far one of the most popular and streamed songs in Sweden every Christmas, and has been ever since it’s original release in 1987. But this is the first time an English version of the song has been released globally.
What do The Mamas say? “We hope that our EP brings joy, but also some positivity, love and harmony – ’cause that’s all we want for December.”
