Who? Hailing from Sweden, Malin Christin is out with her debut single – ‘Lika Barn Leka Bäst’.
What does that mean? It’s the Swedish version of the saying ‘birds of a feather, flock together’.
What’s the song like? A smooth, blissed-out, jazzed-up, mid-tempo ballad.
What does Malin say?The song is about the fact that you may not have to be super similar to work together. I criticise the old saying. Is it really true, or can it actually be good to be different to one another in a relationship? I think you usually subconsciously fall in love with someone who is a little different from you, so that you can complement each other.
Written by? Malin herself, along with Oliver Forsmark.
More from Malin? This is her debut single, but she’s also collaborated before, with Myra Granberg on ‘Salt i Såren‘, and with Albin Johnsén on ‘Aldrig Ge Upp‘.
