What’s this? Swedish artist Cherrie is out with a brand-new single, her first of 2020. This is ‘Ingen Annan Än Du’.
What does that mean? No One Other Than You.
What’s it like? Our favourite song of hers since 2018’s ‘Samma Flagga‘. It’s a bright and airy, summer-tinged bop. Infectiously upbeat, regardless of whether you understand the Swedish language or not.
What does Cherrie say? “The song is about that feeling when you’re at the start of something new. The same feelings that the beginning of summer can give you. It also feels important in these times to release something uplifting that conveys loving feelings, therefore I wanted to release something that just feels good. No one other than you – the title speaks for itself.”
Written by? Cherrie herself, along with Jerker Hansson, Leslie Tay and Sonny Fahlberg. Produced by John Alexis, Pontus Persson, Nicki Adamsson and Amr Badr.
More from Cherrie? Last year she featured on ‘Mi Amor‘, with Miriam Bryant, Molly Sandén and STOR.
You can find ‘Ingen Annan Än Du’ on our Best New Pop playlist.
