What’s this? Felix Sandman follows up ‘Boys With Emotions’ with a new single on which he encourages us to eschew the very worst of those emotions. ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’.
Is it…is it a cover of that song? It is.
What’s he done with it? Quite a lot, actually. He’s turned it on its head, stripped away its sound and reinvented it as a fresh, modern anthem. Gone are the guitars, in are the synths and drumbeats.
What does Felix say? ”’Don’t Look Back In Anger’ is a song that brings me back to my childhood, when my mom used to play it for me and sing it over and over again. I am so in love with the original and when me and my band got to play around with it and do our own take on it for P3 sessions, the response was so great that we decided to release it.”
More from Felix? His second album is due in 2020!
