What’s this? The brand-new single from Swedish artist Molly Hammar – ‘Alone’.
What’s it like? An enormously melodic number into which Molly injects her trademark level of soul via one of pop’s greatest voices right now.
What does Molly say? “I think everyone struggles with loneliness. Sometimes you love it, sometimes you hate it. ‘Alone’ is about someone trying to escape loneliness and hurting people along the way. If this song can become a wake-up call for someone to deal with their emotional life better, or if someone can find comfort in gaining some perspective on themself, I have achieved my goal with ‘Alone'”.
Written by? Molly herself, along with Chiara Hunter, Ella Eyre and Hank Solo (who also produced it).
More from Molly? Her second EP is expected in the autumn, but until then, you can fall hard for previous single ‘Shortcuts‘, if you’ve yet to!
