What’s this? The latest single from fresh Danish talent Elliot – your winner of the ‘One To Watch’ category in the 2020 Scandipop Awards. This is ‘Drown’.
What’s it like? A dark and downbeat ballad that plays out like a cinematic soundtrack highlight. Very much in tune with everything that you fell in love with him for last year.
What does Elliot say? “Most of my songs come from a sort of dystopian place inside of my head and often written to escape that exact place and give comfort. ‘drown’ wasn’t written to comfort myself but a dear friend of mine who was going through really hard times of sorrow.”
Written by? Elliot himself, along with Marco Twellmann and Charli Taft.
