Who? Swedish singer and songwriter Isabelle Carlsson. She debuted in January with her first single, ‘Mountain Peak’, and now releases the GRADES remix. And her artist name henceforth is Zikai btw.
What’s ‘Mountain Peak’ like? The original is a breezy track that’s so laidback, listening to it almost feels like an indulgence. An airy and intricate production is anchored, however, by Zikai’s engagingly awesome vocal. The GRADES remix turns the song into a neon-lit journey back to the eighties.
