What’s she arrived with? An English language cover of ‘Kolyma’, by the Russian band Mumiy Troll. She’s called it ‘White Nights’.
What’s it like? While it maintains that unmistakable (and irresistible) riff from the original, and of course the melody too, the song has been turned into a deep house track. And her vocal lends itself extremely well to a haunting, chilled house vibe. ‘White Nights’ was totally made for Summer Evenings.
