One of the most popular AND critically acclaimed artists coming out of Sweden right now is LÉON. And she’s now back with one of her best releases to date. It’s new single ‘Body’. A remarkable track in that it manages to merge two distinct eras of retro cool seamlessly together in one song. We don’t know about you, but we’re hearing both eighties synthpop (think ‘Bette Davis Eyes’) and seventies psychedelica. And all this is of course paired with LÉON’s usual natural flair for evoking sounds of the past, thanks to her timeless vocal. The song was written by LÉON herself, along with Martin Stilling.
