Zara Larsson has today released a couple of remixes for the latest focus track from her album ‘So Good’ (no official word yet on whether it’s what’s classed a single these days – so let’s call it a focus track for now, yeah?). It’s ‘Don’t Let Me Be Yours’ – the video for which released a few weeks back. Written by Johnny McDaid, Steve Mac (who also produced it), Zara Larsson, and a one Ed Sheeran, the original is a brassy pop tune with a an eighties tinged warmth to it. Taking her right back to a somewhat classic Zara Larsson sound, after the sonic disparity of her last three singles. Today’s remixes take on the light pop tune and both give it a low-key dancehall makeover. The stuff of summer soundtracks.
