Oh those chaps from Eurovision? Those very ones. In 2014 Softengine took their native Finland to the final of the Eurovision Song Contest with ‘Something Better’, and followed it up with their debut album. Now they’re back with a new single, a new sound, and a new video. ‘All About You & I’.
What’s it like? A track which starts off as your standard pop rock and then delightfully turns into an uplifting synth banger in time for the bridge and chorus. We fucking LOVE it when that happens.
And they used ‘You & I’ instead of ‘Me & You’ too! They’re good boys, these lot.
