Sweden has just spawned a new girl who sings dancepop. And we love girls that sing dancepop. Particularly those that come from Sweden.
Meet Becca Adams and ‘Kind Of Love’. And despite it being her debut single, ‘Kind Of Love’ already comes with some pop pedigree. It was written by the man behind Da Buzz – Per Lidén.
‘Kind Of Love’ is a harder subgenre of dancepop than what Per gave us with Da Buzz though. More tailored towards Clubland, and obviously a lot more tailored towards 2014 too. It’s a sexy dancefloor number, and Becca’s vocals are a step above your standard EDM dollybird. Said vox are actually quite Rihanna-esque. Make that really Rihanna-esque.
‘Kind Of Love’ was written by Per Lidén and Niclas Olausson. It’s out now via Sunrise Records in Sweden – Per’s own label.
