This is a very good duet that will be released in Norway next week. ‘The Fire’ by Charlotte Qvale and Thomas Eriksen.
Charlotte Qvale is a lady we have written about a few times before. Thomas Eriksen meanwhile, has written/produced songs for the likes of Donkeyboy, The Saturdays, Lise Karlsnes, Rachel Stevens (‘Come & Get It’ album era!!!), Elisabeth Carew, and Charlotte Qvale herself. So basically he is amazing and we love him. But we didn’t know that he could sing too. We do now.
‘The Fire’ is a mega duet. Mega in that its production is quite large what with all the drums and a great deal of noise. Good noise. And over the top of it, these two characters sing the hell out of the really very fantastic song that they’ve been given (well, that Charlotte wrote and Thomas produced actually). Lots of emotion, and built up so that it at times feels quite epic. It’s a bloody good listen.
