Here’s the debut single from a new Swedish r&b singer. Sweden’s not really know for its r&b exports, certainly not in comparison to what it produces in other genres. But with Sarah Hansson and her debut single ‘Living Proof’, there’s a little bit of Scandipop flavour added to her brand of r&b.
It’s a hugely melodic, mid-tempo, ballad. More motivational self help song than love letter though. It sounds like a cross between JoJo and Zara Larsson, with a bit more of an urban edge to it. It’s a ballad with beats! And with a chorus that’s delightfully catchy. The smallest taste of what to expect from this Sarah Hansson character in the future, but flavoursome enough to have us already anticipating the next morsel.
‘Living Proof’ is out now and has been released outside of Sarah’s native Sweden too. It was written by Sarah, and produced by Precision Productions.
