Vanbot has got herself a new single out this week. ‘When My Heart Breaks’.
She got a hell of a lot of people excited about her debut album back in 2011. And ‘When My Heart Breaks’ is the second taste of her forthcoming sophomore album, after January’s lead single ‘Hold This Moment‘.
‘When My Heart Breaks’. Or as it should be called: ‘When The Chorus Breaks’. Because yes, once again Vanbot has delivered a pop song with a stellar chorus. Our favourite kind of song, and our favourite kind of chorus. Slightly retro, ever so sci-fi, and a good few measures of epic. It’s not a big rave-a-thon, and nor is it a ballad. It’s somewhere in the middle. Of nowhere.
And as with ‘Hold This Moment’, ‘When My Heart Breaks’ hints that this second album of hers is going to end up being even better than the first.
The single is released tomorrow. Last night however, P3 Radio in Sweden gave the song its premiere play, and so you can listen to it below by skipping to the 17:13 mark of the stream;
