It’s the end of the year. Time to cast an admiring ear out over the catalogue of new music that has come from Scandinavia over the past twelve months – all the stuff that we’ve deemed good enough to write about on this site – and cherry pick the absolute best of the bunch.
And in Scandipop terms, that means that it’s time for the fifth annual Scandipop Awards!
18 categories, each shortlisting the finest Scandinavian pop of the year. The artists, the songs, and the albums. And as always, these categories are not up for a public vote – we’ll be revealing our winners at the beginning of next year.
Like last year however, there is one extra category that IS open to a reader vote. It’s the readers choice award, and details on how to vote are at the bottom of this article.
