Tomorrow the Grand Mr Danny Saucedo releases a brand new single. Not quite the follow-up to ‘All In My Head’ though, but rather a side step to his regular release plan – a special, one off duet with old Mr Tommy Körberg.
It’s the not-to-be-taken-rudely titled ‘I Can See Myself In You’. A world away from Danny’s regular hits, this one instead sounds like a down-tempo cabaret session between a season pro and a young pretender, albeit on an orchestral and theatrical scale – it’s like something from a big film score. And it’s really quite sweet actually. Plus above all, there’s a great tune there and some top lyrics.
Those aforementioned lyrics come courtesy of none other than BJÖRN FROM FUCKING ABBA! Can you believe it?! Amazing. He’s joined by regular Danny Saucedo songwriting collaborator, Tobias Gustavsson.
