Danish 90s superstar Whigfield is BACK with a brand new single released last Friday.
And by George, it’s actually really very good. Apologies to all involved for our sheer surprise over this fact, but… y’know. She was always great at what she did in the beginning, and her most recent single ‘C’est Cool’ was a brilliant return to form – but there was a bit of a lengthy grey period in between.
Anyway, yes, ‘4Ever’ is pretty fab. Sweet melodic electropoppery. And it’s obviously a lot closer to last year’s ‘C’est Cool‘ (amazing) than anything you heard from Whigfield in the 90s (a good thing).
Also, we don’t know about anyone else, but we’re hearing several shades of 90s British pop luminaries DUBSTAR here! Probably not intentional, but we love the nod towards that sound anyway.
