Björn Ranelid & Sara Li were the inevitable highlight of tonight’s Allsång På Skansen. It probably wouldn’t have mattered what else was on the bill – it’s all about ‘Mirakel’. But in truth, there wasn’t really much else to get that excited about on tonight’s episode anyway, so they predictably stole the show.
Miss Li (not Sara) was also on hand to perform her new single ‘My Heart Goes Boom’, which we really really like. What we liked less so, were the pop chaps on offer – namely Markus Krunegård and Andreas Weiszzzzzzzz……
Things then took an almighty retro turn, with Ann-Louise Hanson making an appearance, Herreys singing their Eurovision winning song, and of course in Sweden you can never go wrong with an Abba tribute. These guys were called The Original Band (confusing for some, perhaps), and we like the fact that they went with one of the lesser covered Abba tracks, ‘Voulez Vous’.
More retro madness in this camp medley that was performed.
Highlights below, as always. And the utter lowlights, plus the whole show is streaming over at SVT’s Allsång På Skansen website here.
