We’ll cut to the chase here. When this song first started playing we very much suspected that it was going to be truly awful. But we were truly wrong.
Cut to 30 seconds later, and it reveals itself to be bordering on brilliant. Down-tempo and drugged electronic funk. It sounds like Oh Land has popped a xanax or two and is already drifting off to sleep.
Panamah are a Danish band that we’d actually never heard of before, but it turns out that they’ve been going for a while and have already built up quite the following. So that’s their song AND their popularity that have slapped us around the face. Thank you for the wake-up call, Panamah. We’ll pay attention from now on.
