A spine tingling piano riff + dramatic synths = an epic pop song. We first heard this yesterday and fell a little bit in love. Revisiting it today, it’s lost none of its charm, and we’re still finding new things within it to appreciate. Once you get over the initial impact of the production, the melody of the chorus delivered by Clara’s superb vocal really comes into its own.
The video is a bit strange – WHY IS SHE WITH THAT HORRIBLE MAN?! Still, in a lot of ways it compliments the sonic theatrics perfectly, so that’s ok we guess.
