Last night Aqua did their first major TV performance since their heyday ten years ago!
They performed at the grand final of the Danish series of X Factor. Not only to a huge television audience, but also to 41,000 people who were present in the massive Parken arena. They did their brand new single ‘How R U Doin’, and after that they were joined on stage by one of the final’s contestants, Babou, for a performance of ‘Back To The 80’s’.
Thankfully, not much has changed in their performance style since the last decade. They still hop and bounce around the stage, running from camera angle to camera angle, and audience section to audience section. Lene still reminds us of Gwen Stefani on stage during her No Doubt days. Rene has kept all the stage attributes of a hip hop rapper, despite his delivery of bubblegum pop music. And Søren continues to be SO hot (this time in a shirt and tie get-up!).
