Danish high priestess of darker toned dancepop music, Medina, has teamed up with US based dance producer Wolfgang Gartner, on a brand new single ‘Overdose’. It’s pretty damn good.
‘Overdose’ finds our Medina stepping out from the sonic shadows, and into a much brighter and bubblier shade of dance music. She sounds…….well…..actually…..almost happy! Almost. But of course there’s still an element of semi social nonacceptance injected into lyrical proceedings, to make her feel a little bit more at home. “I just wanna OD on you, I just wanna OD on you, baby can I OD on you, I just wanna OD on you“.
