POUND THE ALARM! One of our favourite dance tracks of the year so far AND one of our favourite videos too, while we’re at it, is FINALLY available to stream/view/adore online.
It’s the unusually titled ‘Shoestrings’. Swedish production duo We Are Legends have recruited Swedish artist duo the Rodriguez Sisters, and they’ve come up with this raging monster of a tune that for a week or so this summer, basically took up pretty much ALL of our listening time. And we’re still in awe struck love with it. It’s dance music that sounds like Shampoo flavoured pop music. Early 90s British girl pop duo Shampoo, that is.

Amazing.
The video is a shocker. It’s the type of video that you would least expect the girls in that picture above to have made, and that’s one of the reasons why we love it so much. The other reasons are the blood, the violence, the hotness, and the seediness. Seriously though, it really is quite shocking. We’re not exactly saying “proceed with caution” here, but it’s not your average pop vid, let’s put it that way.
