SVT are currently airing a music series that was filmed earlier in the year – En Kväll i New York. It features some of Sweden’s biggest popstars heading to NYC to perform at the Apollo Theater. There’s probably more to it than that, but we didn’t watch the first episode. What we DID watch though, and what we’d recommend you all watch too, is Zara Larsson’s performance from the show. In it, she performed a cover of ‘Killing Me Softly’ along with the famous Late Show Gospel Choir. And it might just be the absolute best we’ve ever heard her sing live. Stunning. She’s going from strength to strength the brighter her star gets.
Speaking of stunning, Darin’s performance of his own hit ‘Lovekiller’ from the same episode is also well worth four minutes of your time.
