Eh? Swedish pop titan Tove Styrke has covered Britney Spears’ Scandipop penned classic ‘…Baby One More Time’. What of it?
What has she done that for? Probably because it’s an amazing song and always will be, and she perhaps thought that she could do something extra special to it.
And has she? Do you know what? She actually has. Her version is a darker (of course) electronic (of course) interpretation of the song, with a chorus that temporarily turns up the brightness and a middle eight that dazzles quite a bit. Props to Tove, she’s also kept in that infamous piano riff too. Because you just would, wouldn’t you?
And there’s a video? She’s serious about this version being really good..
