What’s this? The music video for the latest single from Swedish artist Skott. ‘Kodak & Codeine’.
What’s it like? It’s her own interpretation of the classic break-up anthem. Dark in tone and with an electric undercurrent, but with a tantalising chorus and some actual bells on.
What does Skott say? “You meet someone that seems to understand you in a way that no one else does, and together you create this bubble – it’s almost like you have this parallel galaxy where only the two of you exist. But then you realize it’sactually a one-man kingdom, and you’re not the one with the power.”
Written by? Skott herself, along Carl Silvergren, Felix Floderer Flygare and Nicklas Lif.
