What’s it like? This might be his fourth single to date, but with ‘Lay By Me’ one does get the impression that Ruben has truly arrived. It’s a stark yet soulful ballad that’s beautifully forlorn and the kind of thing that is going to get him noticed outside of Norway in 2019.
