What’s this? French duo Ofenbach have roped in Benjamin Ingrosso to co-write and front their brand new single. This is ‘Paradise’.
What’s it like? If, like us, you were huge fans of Ofenbach’s ‘Katchi’ from last year, then you’ll be very pleased to learn that they’ve kept that quite frankly inimitable sound and style on ‘Paradise’. A ridicumazing bop of ludicrous proportions. And this time, with added Benjamin Ingrosso to enhance the experience even further.
What does Benjamin say? ”I have never played so much in the studio as I did when we wrote this song. We wanted to write a fun and entertaining song without any restrictions, that surprised even us with the melodies and production. Almost with a sort of circus feeling to it!”
What do Ofenbach say? “It was written after a trip to Los Angeles which greatly inspired us and made us want to carry on the summer feeling. We like the onomatopoeic style of the chorus a lot, and can’t wait to sing it live to our audience! We’re opening up to more pop sounds, diversifying our approach to electronic composition, always with our love of rock in mind.”
Written by? Benjamin, Ofenbach themselves (Dorian Lo. and César de Rummel), along with Janik Riegert, Josh Tapen and Hampus Lindvall.
