Who? Norwegian artist Maria Træbakken. Earlier this month she released her debut single ‘Unnskyld’, and yesterday she released the music vid.
What does ‘unnskyld’ mean? Not what you would think, actually. She ain’t singing joyfully about someone’s lack of skills, but rather asking for their pardon. Perhaps as a result of mocking their poor skillset, we’ll never know.
What’s it like? Well we can tell you what it’s not like – and that’s pretty much anything else out there at the moment, which is always a great way for an artist to kick off their career. Listen to this one – it’s an experience. A hugely enjoyable one.
