What’s this? The mega-huge collective MAJOR LAZER – the collaborative project of Diplo, Walshy Fire and Jillionaire – today release the music video for their brand new single ‘Blow That Smoke’, featuring Swedish artist Tove Lo.
What does Tove say? “This song has been long in the making and I’m so happy about this collab. It started with me and Diplo just sending ideas back and forth until I sent this vocal I was unsure what to do with, and they made magic with it! To me the song is about the sweet escape from your troubles or just mundane life by being a bit reckless and romantic.”
What does Scandipop say? It’s always a joy to hear a brand new Tove Lo composition or recording (both, in this case), but ‘Blow That Smoke’ is particularly sweet because we get to hear her voice and words set to a whole new genre – Afrobeats!
