Galantis? A Swedish dance music duo. The name of the band might not be familiar to you, but the two men behind it will be. Or at least their past work anyway.
And who might they be? Christian Karlsson aka Bloodshy out of the legendary production duo Bloodshy & Avant. And Linus Eklöw aka Style of Eye. Awesome chaps the pair of them.
Is this their debut single? It’s not, but it’s their breakthrough song. It’s the song with which they’ve properly arrived. Currently number 1 on the Swedish iTunes chart, and ascending the Spotify chart as well. On Spotify it’s had over 16 million streams so far. And yet it only really feels like the beginning of the what the song is going to achieve this year.
Oh goody, does that mean it’s out in the UK? Of course not! The Brits won’t get it until March. BUT the video was released yesterday, and you can watch it right now.
