What’s this? Swedish artist Felix Sandman follows up his 16 million streamer of a debut single ‘Every Single Day’, with his brand new one. Here’s ‘Imprint’, which he performed live on TV for the first time on Saturday night, and which you can watch below.
What’s it like? A supremely catchy pop number that’s upbeat in tempo, but, as with ‘Every Single Day’, has a lyric of longing. To our ears it’s even better than its predecessor. A hugely strong follow-up to show that all the success he achieved with his debut was no fluke, and that he thoroughly deserves more to come. Sound-wise? Think Astrid S’s ‘Think Before I Talk’, with the beat and tempo ramped up quite a few notches.
Written by? Gregg Wattenberg, David Bowden, Jordan Rand Miller and Jesse Finkelstein.
More from Felix? He’s just about finishing his debut album right about now, and it’s due out this autumn.
