Darin is back with a brand-new release – his first solo Swedish-language single in over three years. ‘Starkare’ is his latest single. And for a tune that’s all about aspiring to greater strength, the song is a suitably rising epic, with the drums brought out en masse to accompany Darin’s striking vocal. The song’s duration and its somewhat abrupt ending did give us the feeling of being robbed of that huge final chorus we were expecting. But we acknowledge the fact that we can be *very* greedy when it comes to pop. Thankfully, he’s just announced that he’s got a whole new album of Swedish-language tunes on the way!
