What’s this? Daði Freyr has today released the music video for Iceland’s Eurovision 2021 hopeful – ’10 Years’.
What happens in it? Daði & Gagnamagnið must save all of Iceland from a monster that has escaped from Eyjafjallajökull.
A volcano-themed music video from Iceland? That’s topical! And our Daði hasn’t missed a trick – he’s also incorporated some footage of the volcano that’s currently erupting at Fagradalsfjall.
Fagradalsfjall and Daði – the two most famous things coming out of Iceland right now. Make that three – the Jaja Ding Dong man also has a cameo role.
This is some very well though-out stuff. The best superhero music video since Aqua’s ‘Cartoon Heroes’, no doubt about it.
