What’s this? Two young artists who both debuted in 2019 (Bishara, via a successful runner-up finish in Melodifestivalen with ‘On My Own’, Leia with a Zara Larsson co-write ‘If I Ruled The World’) have joined forces on a brand-new single together. ‘Say It Ain’t So’.
What’s it like? A brilliantly melodic number that grabs your attention within the first minute, and also serves as a heart-breaker of a ballad. All the emotions. A song so good, we were actually quite disappointed at its mere 2:37 length. A final, all-out blast of the chorus would have been some great icing on the cake. Oh well, perhaps an extended version is incoming. Until then, we have no choice but to play twice where we would have played once.
