Finnish up-and-comer Alma pretty much up-and-came this week when she was one of eight acts to perform at the BBC’s Future Festival at their Maida Vale studios. Over the last couple of months she’s been featured on plenty of year-end Best Of lists, and recommended by many as one to watch for the coming year. But it feels like an appearance at the BBC Future Festival, and therefore pretty much guaranteed BBC Radio 1 support for her, is her peak to date. We first featured her on here last summer when she released her debut single ‘Karma‘.
