Ex-Love Generation starlet Mikaela is branching out with a solo sound – under her new moniker of Coco. We already wrote about the first single, ‘Music Is Turning Me On‘ – billed as Andremo featuring Coco. And now this morning heralds the arrival of the video – directed by Nikeisha Andersson.
As makeovers go, you can’t really get any drastic than what Mikaela has gone through for her transformation from girlband member to solo songstress. The hair has been shorn off and she looks like a totally different person. And not just leaving it there, she’s played with this new look to maximum effect and decided to take on four very different looks in the video too. It’s a real “this is me now” statement, visually at least.
‘Music Is Turning Me On’ is still very much doing for us what its title alludes to. And so we hope that this dance direction she’s taken for it is another “this is me now” statement. The coming months will tell.
