Norwegian gent Truls has already provided us with one of the most exciting debut singles of the year so far, with the awesome ‘Out Of Yourself‘. And now it’s time for the follow-up. The appropriately titled ‘The Next’.
Now OBVIOUSLY it was never going to be in serious contention for surpassing ‘Out Of Yourself’ in terms of sheer excellence. And unsurprisingly, it hasn’t. But let’s not allow that to take away from the very real fact that ‘The Next’ is still quite awesome in its own right. Featuring a trademark (already?!) Truls falsetto vocal, and a slightly cool but at the same time unashamedly pop production, it’s a worthy follow up to that song that got us all so very excited those few months back. And a further indication that the album is going to be something to look forward to.
