In true trashy magazine style, here are the things that have been making us smile and making us frown all week long;
The Good
- The last weekend in May looks set to be the most scandipoptacular this country has ever seen! Thursday May 21st is the latest scandipop club night, Saturday 23rd sees both Agnes and Star Pilots perform at G-A-Y in London, and then on Sunday 24th, Star Pilots travel to Birmingham to gig at Nightingales with SEPTEMBER!!!
- It’s been revealed that Malena Ernman will grace the Eurovision stage wearing a frock that costs 37,000 Euros!!! All imported fabric and feathers. We cannot wait!
- The UK airwaves have turned blue. With a yellow cross! Radio One has gone and B-Listed ‘Release Me’ by Agnes, and kept ‘In The Heat of the Night’ by Star Pilots on the B-List for a third week. Whilst over at Radio 2, Kleerup has also been B-Listed with ‘Longing For Lullabies’
The Bad
- Velvet‘s going to flop in the UK. 🙁 ‘Chemistry’ was released on Monday but is nowhere to be seen in the top 200 midweeks. Most unfair chart result of all time!
- Nothing could possibly be on a par with the disappointment of ‘Chemistry’ underperforming, so we’ll leave it at that! Have a lovely bank holiday weekend all! x
