You may recall we’re a bit obsessed with Norway’s new TV talent show The Stream, which uses Spotify play counts as a method of public vote. It’s amazing. More details here.
Anyway, the first week has been and gone, and we say goodbye to our first of the nine artist competing. Emelie Adams was the first contestant to be eliminated, after comparatively poor streaming figures of her cover of Birdy’s ‘People Help The People’ saw to it that she was sent packing.
The eight artists who remain, all had their new songs released to Spotify this week. And you can check them all out below. You can also watch the live performances of each of the songs (plus the first week’s songs) over on The Stream’s YouTube channel.
