WELL. The Fooo have only just gone and come out with their first ever BALLAD.
It was bound to happen eventually. After all, how long can a boyband go without releasing a Big Boyband Ballad? Notably, The Fooo managed to go an impressively long time, preferring instead to intersperse their pop numbers with a cover of the Bomfunk MCs. What a band.
’97 Ways’ is the ballad, and it’s the new ‘Halo’, the new ‘Already Gone’, the new Running Scared’! In other words – it’s an amazing, beat heavy slowie with a big “ay-oh, ay-oh” post chorus. As you have all come to expect from The Fooo by now, it’s instantly catchy. Hugely sing-along.
There is now officially nothing that Scandinavia’s biggest boyband can’t turn their hands to. World pop domination can’t come soon enough.
No word yet on when the single is coming out. But today they released a lyric video for it. Well – they couldn’t put out one of their usual flashmob dance-a-thon style vids for it, could they?
