After January’s AMAZING ‘Heart Attack‘, The Asteroids Galaxy Tour release the second single and video from their current ‘Out Of Frequency’ album – ‘Major’.
It’s a big, brassy, balls-out, Bossa nova number. Lots of of emphasis on the horns, the retro chic, and the nonchalant vocal shoutings of that hugely appealing lead singer, Mette Lindberg. Like ‘Heart Attack’ before it, ‘Major’ grabs the listener, convinces with its attitude, and recruits a brand new believer.
We’re a little bit in awe of the aforementioned singer Mette. She’s ridiculously stylish and effortlessly sexy. And in the video for ‘Major’ she carries on that usual Brigitte Bardot look that she has going on for her so well. Yes it’s been done numerous times before, but she just gets it so right. If her and her fellow Dane, Oh Land, ever hook up for a duet it may well be the coolest sight and sound ever to happen in Scandinavian pop.
