Terese Fredenwall has followed up her Melodifestivalen debut ‘Breaking The Silence‘ with a brand new single. It’s ‘I’m Holy Ground’, and it’s taken from her album, also called ‘Breaking The Silence’, which was released in the last few weeks.

We were never all that fond of the song ‘Breaking The Silence’, although it went down quite well with a lot of Melodifestivalen fans, and actually did alright for itself in the contest. Christ only knows how though.

Anyway. ‘I’m Holy Ground’ is much more up our street. A mid-tempo track that rouses with its melody and soothes with its production. It’s a beautiful track. Slightly melancholic, a little winsome, but surprisingly uplifting with it. We reckon it’s those heroic backing vocals that come into play during the chorus, and that gorgeous  middle eight. This would been SUCH  a better choice for her at Melodifestivalen. Never mind the benefit of hindsight – this is a no-brainer!

‘I’m Holy Ground’ is written by Terese herself, along with Staffan Birgersson, Jenny Berggren, and Simon Petren. It’s been released outside of Sweden too.

What’s going on with the artwork of the single though, that you can see here;
