Robyn has got together with Stockholm group, Teddybears, for a brand new collaboration.
It’s not the first time they’ve worked together, since Teddybears member Klas Åhlund also produced most of Robyn’s 2005 self titled album, and a lot of her recent output too. So naturally, you would expect the two to work well together. Robyn fans will be delighted to hear that the new song ‘Cardiac Arrest’ doesn’t sound a million miles away from Robyn’s own material 2005 onwards. It’s an uptempo and manic exercise in electro drumbeats, with heavy influences of sixties psychedelia thrown into the mix. Robyn sings the track in its entirety. And whilst we quite clearly haven’t exactly been parched of new Robyn material over the last twelve months, a new song from her is always welcome. Especially when the results are this good;
